All about Chakras

The concept of chakras has been around for thousands of years and originates in ancient Indian spiritual practices.

Chakras (cakra in Sanskrit, meaning "wheels") are the seven centres of spiritual power in the human body. In Hinduism and Buddhism, chakras are focal points of energy (prana) in the body. In between these wheels are energy channels, which allow the energy to flow from one place to another.

Chakras are visualised as spinning disks of energy that should stay open and aligned, as they correspond to bundles of nerves, major organs, and areas of our energetic body that affect our emotional and physical well-being.

There are 114 different chakras in total, but the below are the 7 main chakras that run along the spine:

Blockages in charkas can result in unbalance in the body, physical, mental and spiritual unrest, and sometimes illness or injury.

Techniques such as yoga, meditation, lithotherapy, sound baths, reiki, acupuncture and others can help  realign and open the chakras.

Our chakra collection is designed to help along your journey on the discovery of chakras: crystals, candles, singing bowls, and much more!
